This evidence-based course is designed for healthcare professionals involved in women’s health, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists and prescribers. It covers the physiological changes of menopause, common symptoms, diagnostic considerations, and long-term health implications.
Management options are explored in detail, including Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal approaches such as lifestyle, pharmacological, and psychological interventions.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to evaluate treatment options, support shared decision-making, and deliver patient-centred menopause care.
The course takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
