Our new and updated 'Managing medicines for adults receiving social care in the community: courses 1 and 2' are now available below. They're designed to support care providers involved in any aspect of medicines use.
Course 1 focuses on the medicine-related processes which social care providers need to consider in relation to medicines use.
Course 2 looks in detail at administration of different types of medicine.
There are also case studies which help to demonstrate how the information and strategies can be implemented in practice.

Care staff can complete the single annual update course each year; this will be made available after both courses 1 and 2 have been successfully completed.
